  • Nebraska's Top Scorer Award (1994)

1994 Season
Danielle Boswell led the Huskers in scoring in its inagural season as a women's varsity sport. In 18 games, Boswell racked up 26 points on 13 goals. She went on a tear in midseason, scoring 10 goals in seven games. She posted two goals against Park College, followed that up with a hat-trick versus Teikyo Westmar, scored two against College of St. Mary, only one versus Oral Roberts and capped the streak off with two versus Texas Christian. Nebraska went 6-1 in the stretch, while their one loss was in overtime at Creighton. Her efforts earned her the Huskers' Top Scorer Award.

High School
Boswell completed a high school career which saw her earn three letters in soccer and garner all-league honors in 1992 and 1993. She led Bullard to a 12-0-1 finish, good for first in its league. Boswell earned a total of 11 letters at Bullard, including three in soccer, four in track and four in volleyball. She earned All-NorCal and All-America honors in track after her junior and senior years.

Other Information
Boswell, a 5-11 high jumper in high school, also competed in the spring of 1994 for the Husker track and field teams.

Personal Information
The daughter of Bill and Fran Boswell, Danielle has one sister, Michelle, 25, and a brother, Chris, 22. She was born Dec. 5, 1975.
