1995 Season
Sarah Determan appeared in six games for the Huskers in 1995, recording two shots, one of which was on goal. She notched her only assist of the season in an 8-0 Husker win over Wyoming.
High School
Determan helped Julio Machuca's Millard South squad to third-place finishes during her last three years of high school and a sixth-place finish as a freshman. A standout for the Indians, Determan earned first-team all-state and all-metro honors as a senior and was honored as a second-team all-state and all-metro selection as a junior and sophomore. In 62 games during her career, Determan helped Millard South record 35 shutouts. She was a four-year starter and served as the team captain her final two seasons.
A three-year member of the National Honor Society, Determan was named Millard South's senior student-of-the-year in 1995 and was a basketball academic all-state honoree. She also picked up three letters in basketball and was team captain in 1994 and 1995. Determan served as the Indian's point guard as a junior and senior and helped her team to the state semifinals and a 40-7 record.
Other Information
Determan spent five years on the Nebraska Olympic Development team and played five seasons for the West Omaha Hotshots Soccer Club. The Hotshots won Nebraska State Cup championships in 1991, 1992, 1994 and 1995 and compiled a 158-20-10 overall record.

The daughter of Jim and Jean Determan, Sarah has one brother, Sam, 19. She was born May 7, 1977.
