Senior (2008-09) <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
Stahmer made his senior season one to remember after tallying a team-leading 19 victories against only five losses on the season. The senior was most successful at the No. 4 and 5 spots for the Huskers, going 10-4 at the No. 4 spot and a perfect 6-0 at the No. 5 position. In Big 12 play, Stahmer won his last five matches to finish with a team-leading 5-2 mark. His 19 victories tied him for 13th all-time on the NU single-season victories chart. For his career, Stahmer finished with a 58-45 singles record and a 25-19 doubles record. His 58 singles victories places him fifth all-time on the NU career victories chart. He was named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team for the third consecutive year.
Junior (2007-08)
Stahmer entered the spring looking to build on a fall campaign that saw him go 3-3. Playing in the top four spots, the junior compiled an overall record of 9-14 in the spring, going 4-10 at the No. 3 position and 3-2 at the No. 4 position. In doubles play, Stahmer had his most success with Francois Van Impe, as the tandem produced a record of 7-8.
Sophomore (2006-07)
Stahmer won a combined 20 singles matches in the fall and spring seasons as a sophomore. He led the team with 11 spring victories, while playing mostly at the No. 4 position. Stahmer also was a two-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and was named to the academic All-Big 12 team.
Freshman (2005-06)
Joining the Huskers just in time for the 2006 spring semester, Stahmer made an immediate impact, competing in 10 singles matches and finishing with a 4-6 record.
High School
As an exchange student at <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>BeatriceHigh School, Stahmer went undefeated in 2002 to win the Class B Nebraska State High School Championship in singles.
Personal
Hendrik was born on Sept. 29 1985, in Hamburg, Germany. He is the son of Werner and Traute Stahmer. He has two brothers, Thomas (27) and Fabian (17), and one sister Nadine (28). He is an international business major.
