Honors & Awards
Before Nebraska
The redshirt junior from Manhattan Beach, California comes to the Big Red with many national honors including ITA national rankings as No. 4 in singles. His highest doubles ranking so far in his career came in his freshman season as No. 22 nationally.
In his 2024-25 season as a redshirt sophomore, Giese posted a 24-9 singles record and 19-7 doubles record. He was ranked as high as No. 10 in singles and No. 28 in doubles that season. Giese also earned ITA Most Improved Player in the South Central Region along with being named Lone Star Conference Player of the Year. Off the court he was an ITA Division II Scholar Athlete.
