Before Nebraska

In the ITF Junior Rankings, Champignuelle reached a ranking as high as No. 824 in doubles and singles and currently, he sits at No. 1,396 in those rankings. He has competed in over 30 tournaments so far in singles play in his career reaching the finals twice including the J30 Saint-Denis and the J30 Blois. In doubles, Champignuelle holds a doubles title from the J30 Blois tournament. He has played in over 21 doubles tournaments reaching the finals three times.

“He's obviously a very good tennis player, but he's very self motivated and self driven, and he's willing to buy into our vision here at Nebraska,” Kobelt said. “So I expect him to come here and do very well on the court, but also do well academically in the classroom and also with the tennis community here in Lincoln.”

Champignuelle is one of the five recruits signed to the Nebraska men’s tennis roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
