2015-16: Junior
Chris Schindler went 2-0 in singles at No. 6 position during the spring and 2-6 in fall play. In doubles competition, Schindler produced a 1-0 mark with partner Tomislav Antoljak at the No. 3 spot. The two also went 2-1 in fall play. Shindler did not compete in any Big Ten competition during the season.
A standout in the classroom and the community, Schindler is a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and a three-time academic All-Big Ten selection. He has also earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll eight times. He claimed a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2015, and was a member of the 2015 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
2014-15: Sophomore
Schindler went 1-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles during the spring season. He did not compete in Big Ten play.
Off the court, Schindler was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned academic All-Big Ten honors. He claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll both semesters.
In the community, Schindler earned a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award, and was named a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
2013-14: Redshirt Freshman
Schindler went undefeated in limited playing time in Nebraska’s singles and doubles lineups as a redshirt. He went a perfect 4-0 in doubles at the No. 3 position, while adding a victory in his only singles match of the season.
A strong performer in the classroom, Schindler was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned academic All-Big Ten accolades for the first time in his career. He added spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the spring and fall semesters.
2012-13: Redshirt
Schindler redshirted in his first season at Nebraska while making the adjustment to collegiate tennis in the United States. He earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring semester of 2013.
