Outlook: Sophomore Andrew Dinovitz begins his third season with the Husker tennis program. Dinovitz played a backup role in 1997, after missing the 1996 season because of elbow surgery. He is completely healthy in 1998 and could possibly break into the starting lineup.

Fall 1997: Dinovitz did not see any competition during the fall season.

1996-97: Dinovitz did not compete in any matches during the 1996-97 season.

1995-96: Dinovitz sat out the season as a medical redshirt after suffering a stress fracture in his elbow.

Other: Dinovitz came to Nebraska after a stellar high school career at Blue Valley North High School. He played both basketball and tennis at BVNHS, helping his team to four state titles in tennis. Dinovitz went 24-2 in singles and 7-0 in doubles during his senior season. An international business major, Dinovitz is the son of Cathy and Dino Dinovitz. Andrew, who was born on July 27, 1977, in Cherry Hill, N.J., has a younger sister, Lauren.
