Adnan Hadzialic Season 1999-00

Outlook: Adnan Hadzialic was the No. 3 singles player in 1999-2000, and looks to retain his position this year. "He is a very competitive, hard-working and dedicated person," Coach Kerry McDermott said. "I am expecting to see great things from Adnan this year."

As a Junior: (Spring 2000) Hadzialic, a transfer from Tennessee Tech, competed for the Huskers at the Nos. 3-4 position. He played in all 20 matches, posting am 8-12 record. Hadzialic was also ranked No. 30 in the Region V singles poll. (Fall 1999) Hadzialic posted an 0-2 mark playing doubles with Jorge Abos Sanchez.

As a Sophomore (1998-1999): Hadzialic recorded a 14-12 record at No. 3 singles, helping Coach Randy Smith's Golden Eagles win the Ohio Valley Conference championship. Hadzialic was 36-33 overall in singles and doubles play and earned all-OVS honors. Hadzialic was rewarded for his 4.0 comulative grade-point average with first-team GTE Academic All-America honors in District IV.

As a Freshman (1997-1998): Hadzialic recorded the Eagles' best 1998 singles mark at 22-13. His 22 singles victories ranks as the eighth-best season in school history. Hadzialic also produced a 12-12 doubles mark. Hadzialic's 34 wins overall for the year was also tops for Tech.

Other: The son of Mirzo and Arifa Hadzialic, Adnan attented St. Hallvard High School in Norway and was ranked No. 2 in Norway's 18 and under division. Hadzialic carries a 4.0 cumulative GPA in mechanical engineering.
