Senior (2011-12)
One of the top players in recent Husker history, Christopher Aumueller capped his Nebraska career with a 157-94 combined singles and doubles record.

He closed his senior season with a 76-50 career singles record, while adding a 81-44 doubles record.

As a senior, Aumueller captured first-team All-Big Ten honors after producing a 45-23 overall record in singles and doubles combined. He compiled an 18-14 record in singles and a 27-9 doubles record, playing primarily at the No. 1 singles and doubles spots for the Huskers.

On the court, he teamed with Benedikt Lindheim to close the regular season as the No. 31 doubles team in the country, according to the ITA rankings. Aumueller finished the season in singles ranked No. 75 in the country.

Aumueller was also a standout in the classroom and the community. He was one of 10 national finalists for the ITA Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership & Sportsmanship Award after winning the Midwest Regional honor. Aumueller also received the Big Ten Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Award. He was named academic All-Big Ten in 2012. He served as the men's tennis team representative for Nebraska's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a senior.

Junior (2010-11)
Aumueller continued to lead the Huskers on and off the court as a junior in 2010-11. He captured All-Big 12 honors in both singles and doubles play, while earning first-team academic All-Big 12 accolades for the second straight season. He closed the year with a No. 71 national singles ranking, while leading the Huskers to their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

He finished the year with a 15-14 singles record while playing out of the top two spots in the Nebraska lineup. At the No. 1 spot, Aumueller posted a 9-9 record, while going 5-2 out of the No. 2 position. He posted six victories over ranked foes during the season, finishing 6-9 against ranked competition. In doubles action, Aumueller finished with an 23-11 record. Aumueller and Lindheim ran off 10 straight wins while going 14-6. The tandem went 9-4 at the No. 1 spot and 5-2 at the No. 2 position, ranking as high as No. 54 nationally in doubles play.

Aumueller paired with Andre Stenger in Big 12 doubles action, and the duo rolled to a 4-2 mark at the No. 1 position to earn unanimous All-Big 12 recognition from the conference coaches. Aumueller and Stenger finished the year as the No. 73 doubles team in the country.

In the classroom, Aumueller earned first-team academic All-Big 12 recognition while claiming spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.

Sophomore (2009-10)
Aumueller had an outstanding fall campaign posting 10 victories. He posted a 9-8 mark at the No. 1 spot and a 1-1 record at the No. 2 position during the spring season to finish 20-14 overall on the season while helping the Huskers to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. He closed the season ranked No. 85 nationally in singles play. He added a 16-15 record on the doubles court, playing a majority of his matches at the No. 1 or No. 2 positions. He paired with David Bendheim to go 3-1 at the No. 1 spot on the year.

Off the court, Aumueller captured first-team academic All-Big 12 accolades while earning spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both semesters.

Freshman (2008-09)
After notching five victories in a successful fall campaign, Aumueller rolled to an 23-8 overall record. He added a 4-2 mark in conference action to claim Big 12 Newcomer-of-the-Year honors. He was the first Husker to ever win a Big 12 postseason award. Aumueller's 23 wins on the season lead the Huskers and ranked 21st on NU's all-time single-season victory list.

Aumueller played primarily out of the No. 3 spot, where he collected a 12-4 singles record. He competed for the first time out of the No. 1 spot in NU's final regular-season match against Texas on April 19. He went 5-1 out of the No. 2 position as a freshman. He paired with fellow freshman Benedikt Lindheim as NU's No. 2 doubles team and the duo finished with a 14-8 record on the season.

Aumueller also got off to a strong start academically, earning spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both semesters.

High School
Aumueller played for WWG High School in his native Germany, where he earned a No. 99 national ranking.

Personal
Christopher was born May 14, 1988, in Bayreuth, Germany. He is the son of Claus and Doris Aumueller, and has one brother, Matthias. Christopher was a marketing major at Nebraska and earned his bachelor's degree in May of 2012. He claimed academic All-Big Ten honors as a senior. He was a two-time first-team academic All-Big 12 pick. He earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13. He was also a six-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
