2021 (Senior) 
Serving as a second-year team captain, Griffin Kehler was a leader for the Huskers during his senior season. Kehler competed regularly helping Nebraska to fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships. 

2020 (Junior) 
Kehler competed in four of the five meets before the season ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic. Kehler earned one individual title during the season on high bar against Illinois. 

Kehler was voted by his teammates to serve as the 2020 team captain. Kehler excelled in the classroom earning a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

2019 (Sophomore)
Kehler competed on floor, parallel bars and high bar at the NCAA Championships to help the Huskers to a third-place finish. Kehler won two individual titles. He received the floor title at the Rocky Mountain Open (1/12/19) and  the high bar title against Minnesota and UIC (2/23/19). 

Kehler also excelled in the classroom earning a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll during the spring semester. 

2018 (Freshman)
In his first season at Nebraska, Kehler made an immediate impact, becoming one of four Huskers to earn All-America honors in 2018. Kehler competed in all eight regular-season meets on floor, parallel bars and high bar, while also making several appearances on rings. Kehler earned career-high scores in every event against Minnesota and Iowa at home on March 24, scoring 14.50 on floor, 13.35 on rings, 14.05 on parallel bars and 13.85 on high bar.

At the 2018 NCAA Finals, Kehler earned All-America honors with a 14.20 on floor. In addition, Kehler was a 2018 Winter Cup Challenge competitor and finalist and also earned NCAA Rookie-of-the-Week honors after a stellar performance against Ohio State at home on Jan. 20.

Before Nebraska
Kehler was a member of World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA of Frisco) and was coached by Coach Sergei Pakanich.  Kehler was a member of the 2016 Junior National Team. At the 2016 Junior Olympic National Championships, Kehler placed second on floor and fifth in the all-around.  At the 2016 Region 3 Championships, the Frisco, Texas, native took first in the all-around, while also taking the high bar and parallel bars titles.  At the 2015 Junior Olympic National Championships, he placed fifth on floor and vault. 

At the 2016 Ricky Deci Invitational, Kehler placed second on still rings and took first on floor, pommel horse, vault, parallel bars and high bar. Kehler also received the 2016 Ricky Deci Award for the highest individual Level 10 score, with 15.10 on vault.

Kehler was a student at Centennial High School.

Personal
Griffin is the son of Kris and Jane Kehler and was born on Oct. 31, 1998, in Fairfax, Virginia. He has one sister, Megan. A marketing major, Griffin earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2021. He chose Nebraska over Navy, Penn State, Minnesota and Ohio State.

In his free time, he enjoys off-roading in his Jeep, long boarding, working on new skills or just relaxing at home.
