Stefan Wallof's Career Highs
Honors and Awards
• Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (Fall: 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009; Spring: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)
2010: Although Stefan Wallof only saw limited Nebraska gymnastics action prior to the 2010 season, he has become a consistent competitor for the Hsukers on still rings and parallel bars during his senior season. Wallof has competed in every competition for the Huskers during his senior season on parallel bars and added still rings just three meets ago. Wallof provided solid routines for the Huskers at the 2010 NCAA Championships.
2009: Wallof earned a spot in the 2009 Husker lineup after sitting out the entire 2008 season. He provided depth on the floor exercise, still rings and vault teams for Nebraska. Wallof competed in two meets for the Huskers, including the Rocky Mountain Open and NU's first home dual against Oklahoma. Wallof earned scores of 10.30 and 12.85 on floor exercise and parallel bars, respectively, at the RMO. He then posted a score of 13.25 against Oklahoma. Wallof continued with his success in the classroom, earning spots on the 2008 Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in the fall of 2008 and the spring of 2009.
2008: Wallof did not compete during the 2008 season, but remained devoted in the classroom with Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll selections in the fall of 2007 and the spring of 2008.
2007: Wallof saw action in four competitions during the 2007 season, when he posted career-high scores of 8.25 on still rings and 8.15 on vault.
Prior: Wallof joined the Huskers out of the World Olympics Gymnastics Academy in Plano, Texas, where he was coached by Pavel Sadovsky. Also a high school competitor at South Garland under Coach Sam Seidell, Wallof earned individual state championships on the parallel bars and high bar and was named first-team all-state. He also earned titles on the still rings and high bar at the 2006 U.S. High School Junior Nationals.
Wallof was impressive academically. He graduated fifth in a class of 466 from Rowlett High School. He was also a National Honor Society member. One of the reasons Wallof chose Nebraska was because of its support for academic excellence.
Personal: Stefan was born Dec. 19, 1987, to Jim and Paula Wallof and has one older brother, Kevin. Stefan is a civil engineering major at Nebraska.
