2010: Josh Rusler competed at every NCAA Championship since his freshman season with the Huskers and continued the tradition at the 2010 NCAA Championships. He wrapped up his Husker career on a high note at the NCAA team qualifier, where he earned a score of 13.30 on pommel horse and a 13.90 on high bar.

2009: Rusler contributed to the Husker lineup both athletically and academically during his junior season. An aerial specialist, Rusler picked up pommel horse during the year to become a four-event specialist for the Huskers. Rusler competed at the 2009 NCAA Championships, where he earned a 14.15 on floor exercise, a 13.60 on pommel horse and a 13.85 on high bar.

In addition to his athletic success, Rusler earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned Academic All-MPSF honors in 2009 and was also honored as one of 30 Nebraska student-athletes to receive a Life Skills Hero award for demonstrating outstanding leadership and citizenship.

2008: Rusler was a valuable asset to the Husker team during his sophomore season. Rusler earned his only top-three finish of the season against Air Force with a third-place showing on high bar with a career-high score of 14.40. He went on to compete in the NCAA Qualifier, where he finished 22nd on high bar with a score of 13.90, 27th on vault with a score of 15.20 and 38th on floor exercise with a score of 13.50.

2007: During his freshman season, Rusler was a vital competitor for the Huskers on floor exercise, pommel horse, vault and high bar. He competed in every competition, finishing the season on floor, vault and high bar at the NCAA Qualifier. Rusler posted season-high scores in floor (8.50), horse (7.70), vault (9.00) and high bar (8.80).

Prior: A level 10 all-arounder at the prestigious Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy, Rusler spent 13 years training with some of the world's top competitors. He is a four-time state champion, three-time regional team member and a former member of the Junior National Team. In high school, Rusler was a member of the National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, Honor Roll and was named an academic All-American. Rusler was also a student council executive officer.

Personal: Josh is the son of Brian and Rhonda Rusler of Norman, Okla. He has two brothers, Chris and Bryce, and was born Nov. 18, 1987. Josh is a broadcasting major at Nebraska.
