2011 (Senior)
Senior co-captain Anthony Ingrelli capped an All-America career at Nebraska with another solid season as a still rings specialist for the Huskers. A 2010 still rings All-American, Ingrelli notched a season-high 15.45 for NU at the 2011 NCAA Team Qualifier on April 14 in Columbus, Ohio. It was the third-best rings score of Nebraska's six-team opening session. He closed his collegiate career with a 15.10 the following day at the NCAA Individual Event Preliminaries, where he finished 14th.
Ingrelli posted eight still rings scores of 15.00 or better in his 10 competitions during the 2011 season, and claimed five individual event titles. He opened the year with a still rings title at Minnesota (15.00) on Jan. 22, before adding a crown with a 14.45 in a win over Air Force on Jan. 30. He earned his third event win with a 15.20 against Oklahoma and Illinois-Chicago on Feb. 13, before matching that score in a win at Iowa on Feb. 19. Ingrelli captured the 12th and final still rings title of his career with a then-season-high 15.40 in a triangular victory over Minnesota and Iowa on Senior Night at the Devaney Center on March 19.
He tied for fifth on rings (15.30) at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., on April 2.
2010 (Junior)
Ingrelli captured NCAA All-America honors at the end of his junior season with a 14.975 score at NCAA Individual Event Finals in West Point, N.Y. He became NU's first still rings All-American since Josh Rasile in 2004. Ingrelli advanced to the event finals after posting a 15.20 at the NCAA Individual Event Preliminaries. He also produced a 14.95 on rings during team qualifying to help the Huskers to a top-10 team finish.
Ingrelli got his junior season off to a strong start with 14.65 on rings to win the event title at the Rocky Mountain Open. He added a second title with a 14.70 at Minnesota, before notching a season-high 15.30 for a third individual crown against Iowa and Minnesota.
2009 (Sophomore)
Ingrelli returned as one of Nebraska's top still rings specialists during the 2009 season. Ingrelli earned a season-high score of 15.20 on the event and captured two event titles on the year.
His first event title came against Minnesota (15.00), before he captured a second title against Illinois-Chicago (14.70). For the second consecutive year Ingrelli competed at the NCAA Championships, where he notched a score of 14.95 in Nebraska's team qualifying round. He capped his sophomore campaign with a season-high score of 15.20 in the event preliminaries.
2008 (Freshman)
Ingrelli joined the Nebraska program as one of the top still rings specialists in the country. In his first season with the Huskers, Ingrelli earned two event titles before advancing to the NCAA event finals on apparatus.
He started the season by earning his first career title with a score of 15.30 against Oklahoma and Air Force. He tied for second (14.30) at Minnesota, before winning a second title against Iowa (15.15). Ingrelli erupted for a career-best 15.50 at the 2008 MPSF Championships. He ended his stellar freshman season by earning the 2008 Nebraska Newcomer of the Year award.
Before Nebraska
A former club team standout at Swiss Turners in West Allis, Wis., Ingrelli was a three-time Junior Olympics National qualifier, where he finished 10th in the still rings at the 2006 competition. He was also the Wisconsin state and regional Level-10 all-around champion. Ingrelli's club career was spent in good company, as Swiss Turners is the former gym of 2004 Olympic gold medalists Paul and Morgan Hamm. Ingrelli attended the Milwaukee School of Language during high school.
Personal
The son of Joe and Linda Ingrelli, Anthony was born on Nov. 2, 1988. Anthony has one sister, Gina, and one brother, Joe. Anthony is a child development major at Nebraska.
