1990: Senior Season
Mark Warburton finished off a successful career by earning All-American honors in the still rings and parallel bars...captured a second-place finish in the parallel bars (9.675) and a sixth-place finish in the still rings (9.725) at the NCAA Championships...earned Big Eight Championship in the horizontal bar (9.75)...tied for first in the parallel bars at the Big Eight Championships with teammate Patrick Kirksey...placed second at the Big Eight Championships in the all-around, fifth in the floor exercise and third in the still rings.
1989: Junior Season
Capped an impressive junior season by establishing three career bests in the NCAA team finals...Warburton scored a 57.2 in the all-around, 9.6 on the pommel horse and 9.55 in the floor exercise to aid the Huskers' runner-up performance...he also scored 9.15 on the vault during the NCAA qualifying round...repeated as Big Eight Champion on still rings and added three second-place finishes at the conference meet.
1988: Sophomore Season
Warburton earned All-America status by placing second on the parallel bars (9.8) at the NCAA Championships...tied for first on the still rings at the Big Eight Championships...won the all-around at the 1992 compulsory session at the U.S. Championships.
1987: Freshman Season
Nagging injuries kept Warburton out of the line-up for much of his freshman season, but he contributed down the stretch, including a 9.5 on rings in the NCAA team finals
National and International Competition:
Warburton earned a spot on the 1989 U.S. Senior National Team by placing seventh at the U.S. Winter Nationals...by winning the 1992 compulsory session at the U.S. Championships, he captured the first spot on the U.S. Senior Development team...in 1986, he was a member of the U.S. Junior National Team.
Stoney Hill Gymnastics Club:
Warburton won the USGF Region I all-around title in 1986...a 1986 graduate of Wilbraham Monson Academy, he received the Harvard Club Book Prize, awarded to the top senior student-athlete.

The son of Georgia C. and R. King Warburton, Mark was born March 22, 1968, in Burlington, Vt...Mark has two brothers and two sisters, and is an English major.
