2026 (Freshman)

Bowers competed in two meets for the Huskers during the 2026 season. He made his Husker debut at the home quad against Simpson, Greenville and William & Mary, where he notched a 12.20 on parallel bars. He competed again at the meet against Simpson and Greenville in Iowa, where he recorded career-highs of 12.95 on parallel bars and a 12.55 on high bar. He also made the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2025. He majors in Mechanical Engineering. 

Before Nebraska 

Grant Bowers competed with Haydens International Gymnastics Academy with Head Coach Dan Hayden. Bowers was a junior National Team member in 2023. At the Men’s Development Program National Championships, he placed second on high bar, fourth on the still rings and 10th in the all-around. 

Personal

Grant is the son of Jonathan and Laura Bowers, and he has one older sister, Caitlin. He chose Nebraska because of the coaches and the team atmosphere. He will be majoring in mechanical engineering. One of his hobbies consists of building computers.
