2026 (Freshman)
Cox competed in three meets as a Husker during his rookie season. He made his Husker debut at the home quad meet, where he competed on pommel horse and got his career-high of 13.35. He also competed in the meet against Oklahoma on floor, where he notched a 12.65. He completed his freshman season in the meet against Simpson and Greenville, where he had his career-high on floor of a 13.55, and he received a 12.30 on pommel horse. In the classroom, Cox made the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2025. 

Before Nebraska 
Ethan Cox competed with 5280 Gymnastics with Head Coach Vladimir Artemev, who also trained team captain Asher Cohen. Cox was a junior National Team member in 2022 and 2024. At the London Open, he placed second on vault and eighth place on pommel horse. 

Personal
Ethan is the son of Josh and Gabe Cox and has two brothers, Micah and Gavin. His father played football at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. He plans to major in business.
