2023 (Freshman)
Asher Cohen competed regularly for the Huskers on the rings and parallel bars. His season high and personal best on the parallel bars came at the NCAA Qualifiers, with a score of 14.166. Cohen also logged a high score of 13.85 on the rings in a meet against Michigan on February 4, 2023.

Cohen excelled outside the gym, earning a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, as well as the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for his dedication to service in the Lincoln community.

Before Nebraska
Cohen competed for 5280 Gymnastics under Head Coach Vladimir and Sasha Artemev, and Irina Bendassova. The Lakewood, Colo. native competed at the 2021 USA Championships where he placed fourth on floor and pommel horse and 10th in the all-around competition. At the 2021 Junior Olympic National Championships, Cohen finished first on rings and eighth in the all-around competition. 

Personal
Asher was born on January 18, 2004. and is the son of Matt and Terri Cohen. He has two older brothers, Jacob and Duncan, and one younger sister, Chloe. Cohen has not declared a major but he did earn a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2022.
