Troy Piatkowski finished his Nebraska career as one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in school history.
Piatkowski, a three-year letterman for Nebraska, finished 10th in career 3-pointers at Nebraska with 68 in three seasons. Piatkowski's best season at Nebraska was in his junior year, when he played in all 32 contests and started 11 for the Huskers' NCAA Tournament team. On the year, the left-hander averaged 6.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. He shot 36 percent from 3-point range, including 41 percent in Big 12 play and hit nearly 50 percent of his field goal attempts in conference play. He also ranked fourth on the team with 56 assists as a junior. During that season, Piatkowski scored a career-high 18 points against fifth-ranked Kansas, nearly leading a Husker upset of the Jayhawks. For his efforts as a junior, Piatkowski was named to the Big 12's All-Bench Team.
In his senior season, Piatkowski averaged 4.7 points per game off the Husker bench. He scored a season-high 17 points against Washington State and also had 17 against Texas A&M on Senior Day. Piatkowski finished his career with 411 points.
