2012-13 (Sophomore)
After joining Nebraska as a transfer from Sam Houston State, Elise Bolton made an immediate impact for the Huskers during the 2012-13 season. The sophomore from Florida captured third-team NTCA All-America honors while helping the Huskers to the 2013 NCAA championship. She also has been a member of Junior Team USA the past three seasons, capturing several gold medals.

During the NCAA Championships, Bolton produced a 211 average after notching a 196.1 average throughout her sophomore campaign. She recorded a regular-season best with a 208.8 average (1,044 pinfall) at the Central Missouri Women's Bowling Invitational.

A rising star in the Nebraska bowling program, Bolton earned a mention from Nebraska men’s basketball head coach Tim Miles on his Twitter account during the NCAA championship match against Vanderbilt. Miles was impressed with Bolton’s confidence as she walked off the lane before her ball hit the pins.

Before Nebraska (Sam Houston State/Merritt Island HS)
Bolton spent her first year competing collegiately at Sam Houston State, before transferring to Nebraska at the start of the 2012 spring semester.

Although Bolton did not have a high school bowling team, she competed for the Junior Team USA national team. Bolton earned multiple gold medals during her time with Team USA, and finished second in the 2011 Intercollegiate Singles Championships.
