2006-07 Review
Stephanie McGinnis saw limited action in the 2006-07 season as she only competed in the Maverick Challenge tournament in Chicago, Ill., on Nov. 18, 2006.  Despite rolling in one tournament, McGinnis earned valuable experience to guide her in her bowling future.  McGinnis, a business administration major, earned a spot on the 2006 Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll for her academic performance. 

Before Nebraska
McGinnis joined the Husker lineup after attending Nebraska for one year. McGinnis was a four-time bowling letterwinner in high school under Coach Les Amory at Lincoln High. A team captain in 2004 and 2005, McGinnis also earned first-team all-conference honors for three years in a row.

Personal
Stephanie, the daughter of Mark and Sandra McGinnis, was born on Dec. 11, 1986, in Lincoln. McGinnis, a business administration major, graduated from Lincoln High School in 2005, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, honor roll and was an academic letterwinner. She has one brother, Shawn.
