Before Nebraska
Abigail, a right-handed bowler, hails from Schaumburg, Ill. Competing since age eight, Starkey has achieved an immense bowling resume. A four-time Youth Open champion, Starkey has been selected to Junior Team USA twice, most recently in July 2025. She is also a three-time PBA Junior Champion in addition to being crowned champion at the Parker Bohn Scholarship Tournament twice. Along with bowling, Starkey played softball as a pitcher until age 12.
Personal
The daughter of Brad and Beth Starkey, Abigail intends to major in Psychology. Her career goals are to become a sports psychologist and bowl professionally.
