Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Spring 2020)
2022 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Placed tenth in the weight throw at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, finishing with a mark of 19.56m (64' 2.25")... Threw a personal-best mark in the weight throw at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, throwing 20.15m (66' 1.5") and finished in sixth place... Earned four top-5 finishes in the weight throw during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Recorded a personal-best mark in the hammer throw at the Sooner Invitational, throwing 56.80m (186' 4")... Added a seventh place finish in the discus at the Sooner Invitational, throwing a mark 49.26m (161' 7")... Earned a pair of top-4 finishes at the Prairie Wolf Invite, finishing third place in the discus with a throw of 46.63m (153' 0") and was fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 56.10m (184' 1").
2021
Indoor: Finished 16th in the weight throw with a personal-best mark of 61-9 1/2 (18.83m) at the Big Ten Indoor Championships…Had a season-best finish of sixth in weight throw at Husker Quad with a distance of 61-4 (18.69m)…Posted an eighth-place finish at Larry Wieczorek Invitational and finished 10th at Husker Triangular.
Outdoor: Placed 15th in the discus with a personal-best mark of 167-1 (50.92m) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships…Won the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 182-2 (55.53m) at Fighting Illini Big Ten Relays…Finished sixth in the hammer throw and eighth in the discus at M City Classic.
2020
Indoor: Posted a personal-best weight throw mark of 58-6 (17.83m) at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.
Outdoor: Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor season was not contested. To help combat the spread of the virus, both the Big Ten Conference and the University of Nebraska suspended all team activities, effective March 13.
2019 (Redshirt)
Indoor: Redshirted...competed unattached in the Nebraska Tune-Up weight throw, posting a mark of 49-9 1/4 (15.17m).
Outdoor: Redshirted...competed unattached in the Nebraska Invitational, posted marks of 159-5 (48.59m) in the discus and 158-1 (48.18m) in the hammer throw.
Before Nebraska
Attended Waukee High School in Iowa...finished fourth at the 2018 Iowa State Championships in the discus at 172-2 (52.47m)...won the Iowa 4A District 6 discus title.
Personal
Born Dec. 23, 1999...parents are Paul and Ann...major is business administration...father, Paul, was a Husker thrower from 1991-94 whose weight throw of 63-8 3/4 (19.42m) in 1994 was a then-Nebraska and Big 8 Conference school record.
