2016-17 (Senior)
Gazmine Mason capped her Nebraska career with another strong performance as she helped lead NU to a national runner-up finish. Mason earned third-team NTCA All-America honors for the third year in a row, and she was named to the all-tournament team at the 2017 NCAA Championship.

Mason posted an average of 201.2 on the season and finished her career with an average of 208.5, which ranks fourth all-time in Nebraska history.

She posted her best performance of her senior season at NU's home tournament, the Big Red Invitational, as she fired an average of 229.6, the second-highest of her career, to finish fifth and help the Huskers to a second-place finish. She also finished fifth overall with an average of 219 at the SFA Stormin' Ladyjack Invitational to lead NU to another second-place finish.

Mason posted an average of 202.7 to finish eighth overall at the Prairie View Invitational to help the Huskers win the team championship, and she led NU with an average of 206.2 at the KAT Klash, as she finished 11th and the Huskers took second place.

At the NCAA Championships, Mason finished 13th individually with an average of 205.4.

Mason continued her strong work outside the lanes, as she was named Academic All-Big Ten for a third time in 2017. She was also named to the Nebraska Scholar Athlete-Honor Roll in fall and spring semesters of 2016-17 and she earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.

2015-16 (Junior) 
Mason continued competing at a high level for Nebraska in 2015-16, earning third-team NTCA All-America honors for the second year in a row.

The junior from Cranston, R.I., was second on the team with an average of 204.4, posting solid scores all season long from the fourth spot in NU's five-bowler rotation.

At the 2016 NCAA Championship, Mason finished 10th overall with an average of 212.7 to help the Huskers to a second-place finish. She was also a member of the NCAA all-tournament team.

Mason was at her best at the Crusader Classic where she earned MVP honors with a score of 223.8, helping the Huskers to a third-place finish.

Mason posted averages above 208 at the Big Red Invitational and the TRACK Kat Klash, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.

She was also strong at the Warhawk Invitational, contributing a 205.6 average to help the Huskers to the team title.

In January, Mason was named a member of Junior Team USA 2016 after finishing 19th overall and seventh among competitors in her age group at the 2016 U.S. Bowling Congress Team USA Trials.

Mason earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the second straight season and was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the third consecutive year.

Following her junior season, Mason competed for Junior Team USA in multiple international events, highlighted by her performance at the World Bowling Youth Championships at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln. Mason took home singles and all-events gold medals, and won silver in the doubles and team of four competition. She also earned bronze in the masters competition at the tournament.

2014-15 (Sophomore) 
Mason was a top contributor for the Huskers and one of the best players in the country during her sophomore campaign. She was named a third-team NTCA All-American while posting a season average pinfall of 207.8 in 54 games for NU.

Mason posted a strong performance at the Big Red Invitational. She tied for sixth on the second day of competition with a 210.2 average. She finished 12th at the Prairie View A&M Invitational, helping the Huskers to a tournament victory with a 218.5 average.

At the Central Missouri Women's Invitational, she was named to the all-tournament team while finishing fifth overall with a 209 average and a high score of 268, helping the Big Red claim the tournament crown.

Mason won the individual competition at the loaded 23-team Music City Classic, putting up a dazzling 230 average.

She contributed a strong 206.9 average in the NCAA Tournament, helping the Huskers claim their 10th national championship in program history.

She continued her strong work off the lanes, as she was named academic All-Big Ten, while being named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. She also earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2015.

Mason competed at the 2015 Youth Pan American Bowling Confederation Championships in Panama City, Panama, following her sophomore season. She took home a gold medal in singles, while winning four silver medals at the event.

2013-14 (Freshman) 
Mason made an instant impact for the Huskers with several exceptional performances during her freshman season, including a team-high 225 in the opening match of the NCAA Championships.

She began her collegiate career by helping the Huskers to a team title at the Big Red Invitational at Sun Valley Lanes. She recorded two strikes in the Huskers' second game of the tournament to contribute to a 2,813 total pinfall.

Mason captured NTCA Scholastic All-America honors for her performance in the classroom. She was also a two-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection and was named to the inaugural Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska 
Mason ended her high school career at Cranston East High School in Rhode Island as one of the nation's top recruits. She rolled a perfect 300 game and added a high series of 786, while winning three state championships (2011, 2012, 2013). Her 225 average as a senior was the best in the state of Rhode Island. Mason also won the Rhode Island Pepsi state title in 2012. She was a standout in the classroom as well, earning a spot in the National Honor Society with high honors.

Personal
The daughter of George Mason and Danielle Daley-Mason, Gazmine was born Aug. 15, 1995. She is majoring in business administration and minoring in informatics and was named an NTCA Scholastic All-American in 2014. She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Mason is a six-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and a five-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
