Huskers Head to Fort Worth for TCU Battle for the Boot

The Nebraska women’s tennis team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to compete in the TCU Jae Foundation Battle for the Boot. The competition is hosted by TCU and will run from Oct. 22-25. Competition is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. (CT) each day.

NU looks to build off a successful weekend at the ITA Central Regional Championships, as the team went 21-10 overall, featuring a 17-7 record in singles play and a quarterfinals qualifier in Conley Raidt.

Competing in this weekend’s tournament are Emma Rizzetto, Neda Rahimkhani, Reya Lee Coe and Maria Taranova. Rahimkhani, the transfer from Baylor, is already capturing success with Nebraska, posting records of 6-2 in singles and 3-1 in doubles so far this fall. Rahimkhani is one of four Huskers leading the team in singles wins, alongside Raidt, Rizzetto and Katie Spencer, who all have six.
