Nebraska men’s tennis begins its 2026 fall season at the ITA All-American Championships which are being held at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla. from Saturday, Sept. 19 to Sunday Sept. 27.
The Big Red are coming off a 12-14 (3-10 Big Ten) 2025-26 season, where the Huskers made it into the 10th spot of the Big Ten Tournament and went on to upset No. 39 Michigan, 4-2. Nebraska continued on to its seventh straight quarterfinal appearance in the Big Ten Tournament.
Peter Kobelt enters his fourth season as Nebraska head coach bringing in a top-20 recruiting class this past offseason. The 2026-27 roster features three returners, four transfers and three freshmen.
The Huskers will kick off the tournament with newcomers, Aniss Rafiq, Jan Sebesta, Calin Stirbu and returners Jeri Lassila and Henry Lamchinniah who will all be playing in pre-qualifying singles on Saturday, Sept. 19. In pre-qualifying doubles, Lassila and Stirbu will pair up in the doubles field on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Following ITA All-Americans, Nebraska will travel to Omaha to compete in the Creighton Invite at the Koch Family Tennis Center.
