Beatrix Tanko earned gold in the 50m fly at the Hungarian National Championships in the Lővér Swimming Pool.
Highlighting international competition so far, the junior swimmer from Budapest, Hungary, notched a personal best in the 50m fly on Friday, April 17. She swam a 26.95 in prelims for a first-place position and later dropped 0.22 seconds for a finals time of 26.73.
Last year, she swam 27.04 to finish second in 2025 at the Hungarian Championships.
Aurora Zanin crushed her previous personal best (2:19.88) in the 200m fly to complete her time at the Italian National Championships. Zanin accomplished a sixth-place, B final time of 2:15.03 after a 2:15.38 in the prelims.
Giulia Marchi finished second in her 100m free heat for Italy with a time of 57.43 on Thursday, the 16th, ending her time at the Championships.
Tanko will compete in the 100m fly tomorrow and continue in the 100m fly finals on Sunday.
