The No. 45 Nebraska women’s tennis team will take on No. 41 Iowa in the Huskers’ final home match of the season on Saturday, April 11. The match against the Hawkeyes is set to begin at 1 p.m. (CT) at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. The Big Red will be honoring Yuzu Miyoshi for Senior Day ahead of the final home dual.
NU (14-6, 6-4 Big Ten) is coming off a midweek victory against Creighton on Wednesday, April 8. The Huskers have now won seven of their last eight matches after the 5-0 sweep over the Bluejays.
Katie Spencer and Conley Raidt rose to No. 38 in the national doubles rankings following their upset over Ohio State’s 13th-ranked doubles duo of Oluwadare/Chavez last Friday. The Husker duo is now 4-1 on the season with two ranked victories, the other being against No. 46 Matsuda/Syrtveit of Washington. The Big Ten Freshman of the Week, Spencer also grabbed her tenth singles win on Wednesday, which now leads the team for the spring season.
Natalia Trigosso and Reya Lee Coe have also had success in doubles play, moving to 5-1 on the season after their victory of Creighton’s Minikel/Tran on Wednesday.
#41 Iowa (10-11, 4-6 Big Ten)
History: Iowa narrowly leads the all-time series at 9-8. The Big Red last fell to the Hawkeyes in Iowa City by a score of 4-1 in 2025.
Rankings: The Hawkeyes have one ranked singles player in No. 62 Mia Mack, who is also a part of Iowa’s No. 68 doubles along with partner Daianna Hayashida.
