• Through 32 all-time meetings, Nebraska holds a 21-11 advantage over the Spartans in the all-time series.
• The two teams concluded the regular-season slate in 2024 with a three-game set in East Lansing, where the Big Red took two of three games over Michigan State.
• In their last meeting, the Big Red picked up a 5-4 win in 10 innings against the Spartans in last year's Big Ten Tournament in Omaha.

• Ty Horn takes the mound on Friday's series opener and is 0-0 on the season with a 4.05 ERA in 13.1 innings this season with 16 strikeouts in three starts.
• Redshirt sophomore Carson Jasa gets the nod on Saturday and is 1-1 with a 7.71 ERA and 18 punchouts in 11.2 innings of work.
• Sophomore Gavin Blachowicz is scheduled to start the series finale and is 1-1 on the season with a 2.31 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 11.2 innings.

• With wins against No. 7 Auburn and No. 16 Florida State this season, the Big Red are 8-5 against ranked opponents in the last two seasons.
• Mac Moyer leads the Huskers with a .592 on-base percentage and is one of six Power Four players to reach that mark with at least 35 at-bats this year.
• Dylan Carey ranks among DI's active career leaders in four categories, sitting second in at-bats (719), third in doubles (55), sixth in games played (188) and ninth in hits (209). 
• The Husker offense ranks fourth in the country with 3.17 doubles/game and fifth nationally with 38 doubles through 12 games.
• Additionally, the Big Red are one of 14 teams, and one of nine Power Four teams, batting at least .300 with 30-plus doubles this year.
• Nebraska is one of four teams nationally, including one of two Power Four teams, with four players with at least five doubles on the season.

Bats in the Husker Lineup
• Mac Moyer has appeared in all 12 games, making nine starts, and is batting .444 with three doubles and holds a team-leading .592 on-base percentage and 13 walks drawn on the season. 
• Jett Buck is batting .295 at the plate with three doubles, a homer, seven RBI and five runs scored after recording his first home run as a Husker at No. 7 Auburn. 
• Case Sanderson has scored a team-best 12 runs and is second on the team with seven walks while hitting .326 with five doubles and a .439 on-base percentage. 
• Joshua Overbeek is hitting .333 with six doubles, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored while tallying a .456 on-base percentage.
• Dylan Carey is the nation's leader with 28 hits and ranks second in the country with eight doubles and seventh with a .509 batting average while recording 10 multi-hit games this season.
• Cole Kitchens has doubled five times and homered once while swinging .283 at the plate with 16 runs driven in as NU's designated hitter.
• Jeter Worthley has recorded three doubles and scored five times, while Miken Miller has driven in a run and tallied two hits and a run scored while splitting time behind the plate this season.
• Will Jesske is hitting .345 with three doubles, three home runs, nine RBI and six runs scored with a 1.183 OPS

Notable Arms in the Pen
• Ryan Harrahill is one of two NU relievers with five appearances this season and holds a 0.93 ERA with one run allowed on five hits with seven punchouts in 9.2 innings of work.
• Kevin Mannell is 1-0 on the year with a save in five appearances and has totaled a 2.16 ERA and nine strikeouts in 8.1 innings.
• J'Shawn Unger holds a 1-1 record and a save in four relief outings while posting a 5.14 ERA and six strikeouts with an opposing batting average of .125 in seven innings.
• Caleb Clark is 1-1 on the season through five appearances on the mound and has held opposing batters to a .091 hitting clip in 3.1 innings, while Chase Olson is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA across four relief appearances.
• Tucker Timmerman and Colin Nowaczyk have seen action in four relief outings, while southpaws Grant Cleavinger and Braxton Stewart have toed the rubber three and two times, respectively.

• Nebraska is 135-29 under head coach Will Bolt when scoring at least six runs.

Carey Nearing All-Time Doubles Record
• With 55 career doubles in four seasons at Nebraska, Dylan Carey needs two doubles to become the program's all-time leader. 
• Carey is tied for second all-time after doubling twice against South Dakota State on Wednesday. 
• The Castle Rock, Colo., native is tied with Daniel Bruce (2002-05) and Matt Hopper (2000-03) and is one shy of tying Will Bolt 's (1999-02) program record of 56 career doubles. 

Carey Joins 200-Career Hit Club, Climbs All-Time List
• Dylan Carey became the 28th member of Nebraska's 200-hit club with five hits in a road series at No. 7 Auburn earlier this season. 
• Carey has averaged 62 hits per season over the last two seasons, which would put him just outside NU's all-time top 10 if he were to reach that average again in 2026. 
• Before Carey, the Huskers had five players join the 200-hit club since 2015, including second-round draft picks Max Anderson (2021-23) and Ryan Boldt (2014-16). 

Get a Lead for the Bullpen
• During Will Bolt's tenure at Nebraska, the Huskers are 145-19-1 since the start of the 2020 season when they lead after the sixth inning.
• The Big Red are 141-17 when leading after seven innings and hold a 142-11 mark when leading after the eighth inning since 2020.

Big Innings Propel NU Offense in the Bolt Era
• During Will Bolt's tenure at Nebraska, the Huskers have scored three-plus runs in an inning in 170 games and hold a 134-35-1 record in those contests. 
• The Huskers are 59-15 in the last three seasons when the NU offense has generated the big inning (3+ runs) in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
