Huskers Look Toward Weekend in Wichita

The Nebraska women’s tennis team will travel to Wichita, Kan., for a pair of matches against Wichita State and Abilene Christian. The Huskers (5-1, 0-0 Big Ten) will face the Shockers (4-3, 0-0 American) on Friday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. (CT), and on Saturday, Feb. 7, NU will take on the Wildcats (3-2, 0-0 WAC) at 1 p.m. (CT).

Last time out, NU faced North Dakota and Kansas City, sweeping both teams 7-0 and 5-0, respectively. Yuzu Miyoshi grabbed two singles wins on Feb. 1 and is 4-0 in singles so far this season, which ties her with Katie Spencer for most singles wins of the spring season for the Big Red. Spencer has had an impressive debut season with the Huskers, notching a 4-1 record in singles play, and the exact same mark in doubles.

Roselli is also teamed up with Xin Tong Wang as the No. 12 ranked doubles team in the country.

Abilene Christian (3-2, 0-0 WAC)
