The Nebraska beach volleyball team picked up a pair of wins on Friday at the UNL Campus Beach Volleyball Courts. The Huskers topped Trinidad State 5-0 and Wayne State 4-1. NU now stands at 3-0 on the season.
The Huskers opened the day with a dominant sweep of Trinidad State with all five pairs winning in straight sets. Action got underway in the exhibition match, where Kenna Cogill and Campbell Flynn earned a 21-19, 21-16 victory over Pelin Alci and Jessie Koscovo.
Keri Leimbach and Jayden Robinson then kicked off official play at No. 5, defeating Ece Caliskan and Aspen Misch 21-8, 21-9. Olivia Mauch and Manaia Ogbechie kept the momentum going at No. 4, rolling past Kya Gilmore and Araceli Rueda by scores of 21-4 and 21-7 in one of the most dominant performances of the day.
Andi Jackson and Harper Murray took care of business at No. 3, holding off Emma Berkhof and Sylvi Baca 21-15, 21-11. Laney Choboy and Skyler Pierce followed at No. 2, handling Ana Vitoria-Vian and Sofiia Khrystenko 21-14, 21-11.
Bergen Reilly and Teraya Sigler closed out the sweep at the top of the lineup, finishing off Kylie Williams and Dakota Martinez 21-10, 21-6.
In the afternoon match against Wayne State, play began with the exhibition match where Virginia Adriano and Gabby DiVita earned a 21-9, 21-14 victory over Mia Berg and Kaelyn Andersen.
At No. 5, Keri Leimbach and Jayden Robinson defeated Jolee Ryan and Delaney Miller in three sets, 21-14, 15-21, 15-11. Olivia Mauch and Manaia Ogbechie followed at No. 4, grinding out a three-set win over Ella Myler and Molly Romano 18-21, 21-18, 15-12.
Wayne State picked up its lone point at No. 3, where Reese Johnson and Mattie Kamery defeated Laney Choboy and Skyler Pierce in a hard-fought three-set match 21-17, 20-22, 17-15.

Following the Husker win, two more exhibition duals were contested. Kenna Cogill and Campbell Flynn fell to Taylor Bunjer and Anna Borner 22-20, 21-15. Ryan Hunter and Keoni Williams came up short against Ella Myler and Molly Romano 21-14, 21-10.
The Huskers will host Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday at 9 a.m., scheduled to be played in the Alloy Strength Complex in the Hawks Championship Center.
