Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team is set to host the quad meet this weekend. The teams competing are #10 Greenville, #15 Simpson and #14 William & Mary. The meet will take place on Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. (CT). The meet will be live-streamed on Big Ten Plus.
Husker Athletics will be handing out green flags that the fans can wave whenever the Huskers stick a landing. Come early to get your flag while supplies last. Wave your flags high when you see a Nebraska gymnast get a stick.
Last Time Out
Nebraska won against No.5 Penn State at home with a score of 318.600-317.150. The meet came down to the final routine. Nebraska had five event title winners. Chase Mondi won the floor and vault. Caden Clinton won the pommel horse. Asher Cohen won the rings, and Nathan York won the parallel bars.
Scouting the Competition
Greenville beat Cal and Simpson in their last meet. They scored a 306.650. Nebraska leads with a 4-0 record over Greenville. As a team, Greenville is ranked eighth on vault and sixth on parallel bars.
Simpson got third place in their meet against Greenville and Simpson with a score of 290.650. Simpsons’ highest team score of the season is a 294.300. Nebraska leads with a 1-0 record against Simpson. As a team, Simpson is ranked 12th on vault.
William & Mary lost to Springfield in their last meet with a score of 303.100, but it was their highest team score of the season so far. Nebraska leads with a 4-0 record over William & Mary. As a team, William & Mary is ranked ninth on vault and seventh on high bar

Alex Nitache and Max Odden will be competing in the Winter Cup in Louisville, Ky., on Feb. 20-22 alongside graduates Taylor Christopulos and Chris Hiser.
