Senior Leo Linquet of Nebraska men's tennis was selected for the Big Ten's Preseason Players to Watch list. Linquet is among 14 other standout athletes named to the list within the Big Ten Conference.
The senior claimed many off-court awards in the 2024-25 season including Academic All-Big Ten, Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. Linquet claimed 11 victories between both singles and doubles and was a consistent piece who helped the Huskers to their third NCAA Tournament in program history.
Coming off that historic season, Linquet and the Big Red will take on Omaha in a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. (CT). The Huskers hope to continue to rise going in head coach Peter Kobelt's third season.
