The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team is ranked second in the Big Ten preseason poll. The Huskers also have two gymnasts on the Gymnasts to Watch List. These two athletes are seniors, Asher Cohen and Nathan York.
Cohen is a 2x All-American with a 7th-place finish on the rings at the 2025 NCAA Championships and a sixth-place finish on the rings at the 2024 NCAA Championships. His career high on the rings is a 14.45.
York has competed for the team at the NCAA Championships every year since he was a freshman. He won the silver medal on the floor at the 2025 Big Ten Championships, and he also received the bronze medal on this event at the 2024 Big Ten Championships. York is a mainstay in the floor, pommel horse, vault and parallel bars lineups.
