The Nebraska women’s tennis team will play in its third tournament of the fall season at the ITA Fall Regional Championships. The competition runs Oct. 16-20 in Norman, Okla. Competition is set to begin at 9 a.m., and tournament draws and scores will be available via the tournament website.
Five Huskers are competing in both singles, including juniors Tiziana Rossini, Reya Lee Coe and Yuzu Miyoshi, and sophomores Natalia Trigosso and Catherine Gagnon. Emma Rizzetto, Maria Taranova and Conley Raidt are participating solely in doubles.
The central region tournament, hosted by the University of Oklahoma at the Headington Family Tennis Center, is one part of the national ITA tournament held at 12 other regional host sites. The regional championship tournaments will name 26 singles qualifiers and 13 doubles qualifiers.
