Nebraska men's tennis is set to host a professional men's tennis tournament in Lincoln, NE from Oct. 12-19 at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. This challenger level tournament will provide top level experience to those competing.
The ATP Lincoln Challenger 75 tournament, started in 2024, brings numeorus professional tennis players, as high as world No. 115, onto the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus and will include six Huskers from this years team.
Huskers Niels Van Der Sijs, Nikolay Sysoev, Colson Wells, and Joan Torres Espinosa will all compete in qualifying singles on Sunday, Oct. 12 to enter their way into the main draw.
Henry Bilicic and Henry Lamchinniah will pair up in doubles play starting Monday, Oct 13.
Matches start at 10 a.m. (CT) on Sunday with the doubles final taking place on Saturday, Oct. 18 and the singles final on Sunday, Oct. 19 starting at 1 p.m.
