Behind three finishes, the Nebraska soccer team defeated Wyoming 3-2 in its final spring match of the season on Saturday afternoon.
Nebraska held a 2-1 after the first half, as Sadie Sant and Sadie Waite tallied a pair of finishes. Sant scored in the 12th minute off assists from Waite and Lauryn Anglim, and Waite scored unassisted in the 27th minute. Wyoming earned a goal of its own in the 31st minute, but the Huskers held the advantage in shots on goal (3-2).
The Huskers scored one more in the second half as Ella Rudney shot past the goalie into the back of the net in the 62nd minute off an assist from Charlie Wistrom. With the 3-1 lead, Wyoming scored in the 65th minute, but it was not enough as Nebraska held on for the 3-2 victory.
