Nebraska pitchers Brett Sears and Drew Christo earned academic all-district recognition on Tuesday.
Sears will advance to the national ballot and be considered for academic All-America accolades while posting a 3.65 grade-point average in child, youth and family studies. Christo was named to the academic all-district team for the second straight season after holding a 3.88 GPA in biological sciences.
The 2024 academic All-District baseball teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
