Nebraska Postgame Notes
*-Keisei Tominaga led Nebraska with 23 points, his ninth 20-point game of the season and 10th of his career. He has been in double figures in each of the last 10 games, including seven 20-point games in that span.
*-Sam Griesel collected his fourth double-double of the season and seventh of his career with 16 points and 12 rebounds. His 12 rebounds matched his season best (also at Creighton), while he has been in double figures in each of the last seven games.
*-Derrick Walker reached double figures for the 20th time this season with 13 points and led NU with five assists. Walker is now 58th on NU’s all-time scoring list as he moved into the top 60 following tonight’s game.
*-Walker leads NU in scoring (13.6), rebounding (7.1) and assists (3.9) and could be the first Husker to lead the team in all three categories.
*-Jamarques Lawrence reached double figures for the fourth straight game with 12 points, including three 3-pointers
*-Nebraska committed just eight turnovers, tying its second-lowest total of the season.
*-Nebraska enjoyed a 40-26 advantage in points in the paint and has not been outscored by an opponent in that category since Dec. 10 against Purdue.
*-Nebraska lost for just the second time this season when scoring 70+ points. NU is 13-2 when scoring 70 or more points.
*-Minnesota shot 51.9 percent, just the fifth opponent in 31 games to shoot 50 percent against Nebraska. Minnesota went 14-of-20 from the line, well above their .615 season percentage. In the last two games against NU, Minnesota went 25-31 (.806) from the charity stripe.
