Nebraska baseball concludes its fall schedule with a road exhibition at Kansas on Saturday. The Huskers and Jayhawks are set to play 14 innings, with first pitch set for 4 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark in Lawrence.
Admission is free to the public, while in-game updates will be available on Twitter (@Husker_Baseball).
The Huskers posted a 9-1 win over Omaha in a 14-inning exhibition last month. Josh Caron had a team-high three hits after going 3-for-4 at the plate. Dylan Carey had two hits and three runs, while Max Anderson tallied two hits and drove in three runs. Efry Cervantes was 1-for-2 with a two-run homer.
Nebraska returns 21 players from 2022, including All-Big Ten honorees Emmett Olson and Garrett Anglim. Olson was named All-Big Ten Second Team, while Anglim was chosen to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team.
The Huskers have 25 newcomers on the roster, highlighted by a 24th-ranked transfer class according to Baseball America.
