LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska cross country team competed in its second intrasquad meet of the fall Thursday night, racing time trials in the mile, 3K and 5K.
Starting the night off was the men's 3K. Freshman Zach Van Brocklin finished first in a time of 8:42.63. In the women's 3K, senior Erika Freyhof led the group, finishing in a time of 9:33.22.
In the combined mile race, Franklin Shue (4:30.07) and senior Emma Bresser (5:12.59) finished first for their respective teams.
The 5K closed the night, with junior George Kusche (13:56.63) crossing the finish first for the men and junior Grace Pagone (17:06.84) finishing first for the women.
