Three members of the Nebraska rifle team earned All-America awards for their impressive 2019-20 season, including Elena Flake, Hana Musser and Macey Way.
A sophomore, Flake notched two awards from the NRA, earning second-team All-America honors in both smallbore and air rifle. Additionally, Flake was named a CRCA third-team All-American (combined). Flake competed in every match in both disciplines for the Huskers in 2019-20. She tied the air rifle school record with a 597 and set a career-high score in smallbore with 590.
Freshmen Hana Musser and Macey Way also earned All-America honors from the NRA. Musser was recognized in smallbore as an honorable mention, while Way was a second-team air rifle pick.
Additionally, eight Huskers were named CRCA Scholastic All-Americans including Samantha Peterson, Maddie Korthas, Kayla Gadeken, Bailey Powell, Macey Way, Hana Musser, Elizabeth Ewert and Elizabeth Lorentz.
