Huskers Advance to NCAA Finals

Champaign, Illinois - The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team advanced to the NCAA finals for the third year in a row after a third-place finish (405.723) at the NCAA Qualifiers this afternoon. Nebraska finished behind Michigan (408. 389) and Stanford (407.588) in the first of two qualifying sessions. Minnesota (396.059), Navy (393.123) and California (390.849) also competed in the session, but will not advance to the team finals. Session two is set for tonight at 7 p.m. and will feature Oklahoma, Illinois, Penn State, Iowa, Ohio State and Army. The top three in that session will also advance to the team finals, which will take place on Saturday, April 20, at 6 p.m.
