Huskers Head to Hawaii for Beach Volleyball Trip

The Nebraska beach volleyball team heads to Hawaii to play 14 matches in Hawaii and California over the next two weeks.

The Huskers take a 10-1 record - their most wins ever in a beach volleyball season - to Hawaii to face off against some of the best teams in the nation. First, NU will play Chaminade in a scrimmage on Friday in Honolulu before participating in the Heineken Hawaii Invitational on Queen's Beach, where NU will play Boise State, No. 9 California and No. 5 Hawaii in round-robin play on Saturday. The semifinals and finals will be played on Sunday.

On Monday, the Huskers will play a doubleheader against Boise State and No. 5 Hawaii at the Ching Complex, beginning at 5 p.m. CT. The Huskers' late-night match against Hawaii, scheduled for an 8 p.m. (CT) start, will have a free live stream available here

The Huskers will then head back to the mainland to play six matches in California. NU will play Westcliff University and Irvine Valley College in Irvine on Thursday, March 21, and at No. 10 Long Beach State on Friday, March 22.
