The Nebraska beach volleyball team won its eighth match in a row with a 5-0 sweep of Ottawa (Kan.) on Saturday at the Hawks Championship Center.
The Huskers swept all five matches, just as they did on Friday, and are now 9-1 on the season.
Playing in reverse order, Capri Davis and Megan Miller teamed up for a 21-11, 21-7 win to start the day. Hayley Densberger and Anezka Szabo followed with a 21-9, 21-6 win. Madi Kubik and Mari Kurkova clinched the match with a 21-12, 21-15 victory. Kenzie Knuckles and Jazz Sweet won 21-7, 21-15, and Nicklin Hames and Lauren Stivrins capped the match with a 21-11, 21-19 win.
The Huskers will play their final home match of the season on Monday at 1 p.m. against Park University. NU will then depart for a 12-day trip to Hawaii and California.
