Madison, Wis. – The Nebraska soccer team (8-5-4, 4-2-3 Big Ten) fell to 19th-ranked Wisconsin by a 1-0 margin at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex on Thursday night.
The Huskers had gone 10 consecutive games scoring at least one goal, dating back to Sept. 6, before the loss to the Badgers. Wisconsin improves to 12-2-3 overall with a 6-1-3 record in Big Ten play.
NU outshot UW by a 9-8 margin, including a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal, but Wisconsin managed to find the back of the net in the 25th minute and never looked back. The Badgers’ Lauren Rice scored from just inside the box off an assist from Victoria Pickett for her seventh goal of the season.

Brandt led the Husker offense with three shots during her 90 minutes of action. Ochoa, Theresa Pujado, Ashley Zugay, Grace Brown and Aubrei Corder also played the full 90 minutes for the Big Red.
