Four Huskers to Compete at Spec Towns Invitational

Decathletes Cody Walton, Jared Seay and Cale Wagner, and pole vaulter Tyler Loontjer will compete at the Spec Towns Invitational at Spec Towns Track in Athens, Ga., this Friday and Saturday.

The decathlon begins Friday with the 100m at 10:45 a.m. (CT), with the long jump, shot put, high jump and 400m to follow. The men's pole vault competition is also set for Friday, starting at 11 a.m. (CT).

The decathlon competition continues Saturday beginning with the 110m hurdles at 9:45 a.m. (CT), followed by the discus, pole vault, javelin and 1,500m.

Nebraska was scheduled to host the Husker Spring Invitational this Saturday, but the meet was canceled earlier in the week due to forecasted weather.
