Rebels Top Huskers

Columbus, Ohio- The Nebraska rifle team fell to the Ole Miss Rebels in the second meet of the year with a final score of 4,669-4,660.

In the smallbore, the Huskers tallied a score of 2,311 together. Nina Radulovic produced the highest score at 580. Samantha Peterson (578), Emily Cheramie (577), Hannah Virga (576) and Dacotah Faught (571) represented the rest of the squadded members. 

The Big Red posted a 2,349 as a collective air rifle score with Peterson bringing the highest score of 590. Virga was close behind with a 589, followed by Faught (587), Cheramie (583) and Korthas (573). Although not squadded, Kayla Gedeken posted a 586.

Ole Miss posted an aggregate score of 2,312 in the smallbore led by Jessica Haig and Abby Buesseler. In the air rifle, the Rebels outscored the Huskers with a final mark of 2,357. 

Nebraska will return to the range on January 19th in Annapolis, Md. to take on Navy.
