Huskers Send Athletes to California, Iowa

The Nebraska track and field team will send a group of athletes to two destinations this weekend.

Wyatt McGuire and Patrick Letz will run the 10,000 meters at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival on Friday at Noon (CT). 

A group of 11 athletes will compete for the Huskers at the Reiver Open hosted by Iowa Western Community College on Friday and Saturday in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Additionally, 14 redshirting student-athletes will compete unattached. The attached athletes who will compete are the throwers and the women's heptathletes.

Nebraska will host its first outdoor meet of the season, the Husker Spring Invite, on April 8 at Ed Weir Stadium.
