Offseason Notes
· Prior to the 2016-17 season, the Huskers added former UT Martin shooter Dacotah Faught.
· Faught dominates the UTM record books, holding the top three scores in both disciplines since the scoring change in 2005.
· Faught joins seniors Jaycee Carter and Rachel Martin as returning All-Americans on the 2016-17 team.
· The Huskers have only three upperclassmen in Faught, Carter and Martin.
· The Huskers welcome four newcomers to the team this season in Maddie Korthas, Samantha Peterson, Sarah Sutton and Kayla Gadeken.
· Gadeken becomes NU’s first in-state rifle athlete since Sheena Mahloch, who was a member of the Nebraska rifle team from 2008 to 2012
· The Huskers are looking for their fifth consecutive NCAA Championships appearance in 2016-17, which would tie the program record for most consecutive trips to the NCAA Championships.
