"Great tournament for the Boyer brothers to come out on top today and bring home the 2015 Big Ten Indoors doubles title," said Head Coach Kerry McDermott. "These guys played very solid tennis today and competed at a very high level all day. We as coaches were very excited to see them play hard every match and especially at a few times when they struggled. They found a way to buckle down and find the way to win, that's what great players do."

"This is the second time in the last three year that we have had a doubles team win the Indoor Championship," Coach McDermott added. "What was really exciting was we had the team of Bradford Zitsch and Andrew Dzulynsky reach the semi finals and ended up losing to the Boyers by the score of 6-4 in a tight match. IT was good to see Bradford and Andrew have a solid performance today and step up their play in doubles. Hopefully the guys can carry over this momentum as a team into their individual matches tomorrow and we can bring the singles crown back to Nebraska on Monday."

Singles competiton in the Big Ten Indoors Tennis Tournament begins Saturday at 8 a.m., with Nebraska's No. 1 Dusty Boyer and No. 4 Toby Boyer taking aim at their second championships of the weekend.?
